John F. Henning, Jr.

John has represented diverse local government entities since 2004, focusing on advising K-12 school systems and other educational entities for more than 20 years.  John also has over 18 years experience representing municipal entities, serving as Town Attorney to five municipalities and as Special Counsel to the City of Asheville Civil Service Board.  John applies his prior experience in general civil practice to the firm’s clients, with a focus on real estate, contracting and construction matters.

John and his wife live in Weaverville, NC, where they are attempting to parent two bright and mischievous young children.
