Ashley’s areas of practice include public school and higher education law, with a particular interest in employment law litigation, Title IX investigations, and special education due process. Ashley received her law degree with honors from Gonzaga University School of Law in 2013 and began her law career in Utah, representing employees in discrimination and harassment litigation. Since Ashley went to law school to work in education law, she jumped at the chance to work in the Education Section of the Utah Attorney General’s Office in 2017, representing higher education institutions in personnel and student litigation. Ashley and her partner moved back to the southeast to be closer to family and Ashley joined Campbell Shatley in 2020. She is an experienced litigator, investigator, and board attorney for school districts and higher education institutions throughout the state. She has also represented municipalities and other governmental entities on employment, policy, and compliance issues.
Ashley is an avid runner and diehard Georgia football fan. She and her partner enjoy hiking with their dog in the western North Carolina mountains.
